i installed different versions of krita before, and the only one where pressure sensitivity (on my yiynova) worked, was (and still is) 2.9 pre alpha. I just installed 2.9.00 and hoped that in the release this issue would be fixed, but it isn't. Any ideas? So i'm back with the pre alpha

Did you report this as a bug on the tracker back then?

Windows or Linux? We didn't actually change the tablet support code, but I can take a look tomorrow with my yiynova and the windows laptop. Did you update any drivers by any chance?

recognizing pressure sensitivity seems to be a hassle in general. neither photoshop nor gimp could manage it. krita (and only the pre alpha) seemed to be the only one

Hm, if photoshop also doesn't recognize the pressure sensitivity, I suspect that the driver did get broken somehow. Maybe try reinstalling it?

oh i tried that numerous times, with several versions of the driver
strange that it works with this pre alpha though...
