Hi, is there any way to hide the symmetry line in the mirror tool? Or as alternative to change the color of the doted line than currently shows the symmetry axis.

:)

Thanks

No there isn't, but you could try using the multibrush tool(on Q) instead, that doesn't have the symmetry line on by default, though you'll have to set it to mirror.

Thanks, that is exactly what I want looking for!! ;D

Is there any way to do a mirror, but not real time? I mean the equivalent to select the right or left part of the picture, copy and invert horizontal. Perhaps is possible with a macro or with a existing tool? The use would be for restoring symmetry when a tool doesn't accept real time symmetry, for example move a selection. 8-)

Copy the layer you want to mirror (Control+J), then in the menu do Layer > Mirror Layer horizontally. You can move it where you want then.
