I just had to re-install Krita. I now have ver. 2.9.0.
Now I can't edit my favourite preset brushes. I tried the little wrench that comes up with my preset menu, but it does nothing.. Help... |

You can assign tags to presets in the preset selectors; then you can select a tag in that menu and the popup will show the presets you gave that tag.

Hi. This is my way to do that, step by step: 1) switch to the docker "Brush Presets", 2) and click the green coloured icon "+" on the top-right. 3) Type in a name of your choice in the textfield "New Tag", and press the "Enter" key. 4) Remaining near the green colored icon "+" select from the dropdown menu your new tag name (note that "All Presets" is a fixed tag and you cannot delete it, "Favorite Presets" is also a default tag and you can add and remove presets on it at your will), 5) then move at the bottom of the docker to type a search key in the textfield "Enter resource filters here". You should see that only those presets whose name matches the search key you entered are actually shown. You can also use multiple search keys separated by a comma, e.g. "layout, smear". 6) When you're done, just click the "Save" button icon. Done! Now you'll be able to access the presets you saved in your new tag, from: - the docker "Brush Editor", - the button "Choose brush preset" in the toolbar, and most importantly ![]() - the pop-up wheel when you right-click over the canvas. |
