Hi, new Krita user here. I literally just downloaded the program last night and I have been having a little bit of trouble figuring Krita out.
One question I have: How do I configure Krita to allow me to erase when my stylus is flipped? Right now, the program thinks that the "eraser" portion of my stylus is just a fatter pen. OS: Windows 7 Tablet: Wacom Intuos Pro Step by step instructions are much appreciated, thank you. |

You can select an eraser brush preset with the eraser end of the pen: until you select another preset with that end (or restart Krita, it's not yet remembered) that preset will be used.

Aww, that is a little disappointing. Coming from commercial brands, I was hoping that there would be some way to make the eraser automatic. I will just try to get used to it.
Thanks so much for your help! |

@camillat
You can also press 'E' to instantly turn your current brush into and eraser. If your current brush for some reason is not suitable as an eraser you can choose eraser brush from the brush preset docker and then cycle through brush and eraser with the help of '/' thank you |

Making it flexible was a conscious choice -- making krita remember the last used preset is just a todo

2.9.2 should select an eraser preset by default for the eraser end and keep track of all the pens you've got and remember all the presets selected for them. Tested with intuos3, art pen and normal styles.
