Hi,

Gnome or not doesn't make any difference. I regularly build Krita for centos 6.5, mainly for studios who've joined or are considering to join the Krita Development Fund. Right now, the repo is open, and I've shared the link with your colleague.

As to the actual error: somehow, you must be missing the X11 development package.

It's a simple as downloading that repo file, copying it to /etc/yum.repos.d, yum update, yum install kritastudio.

Hi Boud

Thanks a lot for your help ....I have managed to get the installation done and krita is working for me now. There were few dependencies which were not able to download from your repo and I manually downloaded and compiled it "OpenColorIO, tinyxml, yaml-cpp". will surely keep you updated on this. ...Thank a lot ....!!!
