I gotten so used to Krita and it always worked without any problems until Linux Mint 17.1 update.
Now, every time I start Krita I get this:

Essential application components could not be found.
This might be an installation issue.
Try restarting, running kbuildsycoca4.exe or reinstalling.

So, that's all fine, but a little more info what I need to install would be appreciated.

Hi tgreen,

I don't know for sure, but it sounds similar to issue discussed in this forum thread viewtopic.php?f=137&t=124270&p=328777&hilit=mint+krita#p328777

I hope its the same issue and the thread helps you.

thank you
