How can I mask a layer or a layer-group using vector shapes?

Hi,
Very easy using the inherit alpha feature in Krita, but you do need to use a group: -Create a group layer -Add a vector layer at the bottom of the group -Draw some vector shapes on it -Add some layers above and click the inherit alpha button on them (the alpha symbol icon). That will disable the alpha channel of the layers, clipping them to layers below with alpha enabled (=normal state) in the group. ![]() |

Hey - that works for some things, thanks.
Now what do I do if I only want the masked layers to be visible? I'd like to mask the layers with the vector shape without seeing the vector shapes themselves. Edit: Also, can I set the fill colour of a vector shape using a hex value? |
