Now it's reinstalled but super messed up. I have a mac (OS X 10.9.5) so I know it could be glitchy, but the newly downloaded version won't even work. Line work won't show up/the pens don't work and when I hid the background and unhid it, chunks of the canvas went missing and scrambled. It basically looks like it tried to turn itself into a tetris game. Is there anyway to solve this/get Krita to work again?

I don't know much about OSX, neither i am a developer, so my suggestion may or may not work.
Have you turned off or on the opengl and tried it? if changing opengl setting won't work, may be others can help you with better suggestions. thank you |

I don't know how I did it, but I was able to somehow get it to work! I recycled the glitchy one and went back into my downloads to see if there were any other versions still around, and for some reason when I pulled the version out of my downloads, it worked. Also, I had tried restarting my laptop before and that didn't fix it so I'm really glad I stumbled across the solution. Thanks for coming by and offering advice though.
