Recently I got one of those pallet kickstarter things (http://palettegear.com/) in the mail, and I was wondering if there was any way to get it to talk to krita.
It can be set up to send either midi device outputs, or joystick device outputs. (it can send keyboard outputs as well, but sliders don't work with that.) Is there any way I can configure krita so that brush settings (like opacity, or scale) can be affected by the sliders? (preferably without interrupting strokes being drawn with the tablet.) I'm currently running on windows, but I also have access to linux. (I typically use krita on windows at the moment). |

the humblest of bumps
I hope I don't need to dive into krita's source code to get this kind of thing working, I'm kinda busy with other projects at the moment and large opensource code bases are clearly defined as too spooky. |

I'm sorry... It must be possible, but you'd be the first to try it, as far as I know... If you want to look at a simple input module for Krita, check the space navigator plugin. If the midi stuff can send key events, it all gets much simpler though!
