How to fix this?

Sat Jun 06, 2015 3:04 am
I wanted to install 2.9.4.7 but got this message
Image

That message doesn't tell me much and now my portable version doesn't work right. None of the brushes show up bt I know they're there, in two places actually. They're all in the portable folder and in the C:\Users\*********\AppData\Roaming\krita\share\apps\krita older. Should they be there if I'm using the portable version? and how can I remove the old version so I can proceed with the new version install? This is becoming a real problem.

Amendment:
I installed the 32 bit version and it works. I must confess that I'm completely at a loss. I found the brushes so that's fixed.

That messages comes from Microsoft's installer framework and means it messed up. It seems there are cleaner utilities available from Microsoft.
