Even though I have updated my drivers, Krita still fails to work!
I tried looking around for other things but nothing seems to help out. the place where I updated my driver said there wasn't an update at or past 10.18.14 my computer's SNID is 33210582134 And my graphics driver is 'Intel(R) HD Graphics' i think I don't think I have this OpenGL so I don't know what to do!! Please help!! |

You probably do have OpenGL, but the thing is that Intel made it really hard to update their drivers as of currently, and their older ones have the black canvas bug. We don't know why they did that, it's super-weird. You can turn off OpenGL under settings->configure Krita->display, this will make the canvas kinda slow, but you will be able to paint.
It may be an idea to sent a message to intel's customer service asking how to obtain the last drivers, but turning off openGL should help you to use Krita in the meantime. |

Thank you!! It worked!
Krita was already slow for me so it's not a big deal haha I will think about sending Intel customer serivce a message too. |
