Uhm, I am not sure what you are trying to do, but perhaps use the stablizer instead of weighted smoothing?

Are you using a tablet? Tablets have pressure-sensitivity.
If not, you will need to make a brush that sets the size to become bigger with speed. You can press f5 to get to the brush-settings. |

Hello:
It would be helpful to know what tablet, if any, that you are using. Varied lines like you are looking to create are best created with a tablet and pressure sensitive pen. It's difficult to create the lines you're looking for with a mouse or non-pressure sensitive drawing pen. I've had good luck with drawing varied line width using a Wacom tablet and pressure sensitive pen. Start with heavy pressure followed by lighter pressure to finish your stroke. Experimenting with various brushes is also recommended. I've had good luck with a number of brushes in the David Revoy collection, v6 for Krita 2.9: http://www.davidrevoy.com/article248/krita-brushes-v6 Good luck |
