Hi,
I have been having problems with Krita color picker. Issue can be described as follows. When i got one layer, then another one on top of it and pick the color that appears as their sum it seems like its not working properly. For example: Lower layers is dark shadow silhouette with no gradation, to make it more lifelike i start to lighten it on the next layer with "INHERIT ALPHA - ON" (both layers in group so the silhouette ones acts as clipping mask) and now i have the upper "lightening" layer active, i pick the color and paint on it and this is were stragne things happen. Instead of this color working as intended it for example darkens everything way beyond the color shown value. Now to make it lighter i have to pick something very close to white to have any effect at all. Despite painting at 100% opacity still, white will produce some greyish tone instead of painting in briliant white. To describe it the other way, it looks like i am using some kind of "burn" tool instead of brush tool. |

Could you make a screenshot? There's some other possible factors that could be involved.

Thanks for quick response, i think i have found the issue, the thing happens when i use "lock transparent pixels" on the upper "lighten" layer. When i disabled the "keylock" on the upper layer it works alright (at least i think so) but on the other hand i have to erase unneeded things again so i have to do work two or three times as i want to change anything Thread can be removed!
