I've been searching Google and the Krita forum for any information on the text feature of Krita but I've come up empty handed. Can anyone point me to a tutorial or explanation of the finer points of the TEXT feature(s) of Krita? Two areas I'm finding frustrating are:
1) I'm illustrating a children's book and want to input text into an image. In this case three lines. Pressing "enter" at the end of a sentence will not give me a next line to type. What am I missing? Am I really being forced to create three vector layers to input three lines of text on a single page? 2) Text on a path. Does this feature work or is it broke? I found a single reference to a tutorial but it doesn't seem related to Krita: https://userbase.kde.org/Karbon/Tutoria ... Text_Shape Question: When it comes to text should I just move to my Photoshop Elements 10 and/or InkScape programs for my text needs? Thanks, Chuck |

For now, yes, use inkscape. The text-tool is probably going to be the next big Krita project after animation and performance improvements are in, but that's probably going to be next year-ish.
