I have never been able to get the pop up palette to work in any version of Krita. I'm using a Macbook Pro with OSX 10.9.5 and Krita 2.9.6.1, but like I said it's never worked with any version of Krita. You tap the touch pad with two fingers to perform a right button click. It works for everything else in Krita that uses a right button click, but it won't bring up the pop up palette.
However, every once in a while, there'll be a little glitch where it seems like the canvas vanishes and I can see behind it, and there will be pop up palettes everywhere that I clicked. Then they vanish and I still can't get the pop up palette to work. I've tried setting up a different shortcut for the palette, but that doesn't work either. Does anybody have any idea how I can get the pop up palette to work. I would appreciate any help. Thanks. |

If I disable opengl and click with the right mouse button (the mouse I use with the macmine has two buttons and a scrollwheel, it's also fifteen years old), the palette will appear. That it doesn't appear in OpenGL mode is a bug in Apple's opengl driver. Only after the 3.0 port of Krita to a new development framework will I start really looking into OSX bugs.

Thanks boudewijn, I disabled opengl and that did it. The pop up palette works now.
I just want you to know how much I like Krita. You're doing a great job, keep up the good wok. I can't wait for updates. |

There will be a biggish one end of this month, we're trying to get rid of a bunch of bugs before then.
