I'm sorry to have to ask this but I've been over the documentation multiple times, and tried everything in krita but I just don't get how the text works. The multiline option I get but the other one, 'Artistic Text' Somewhere, I've seen how to change it but I just forgot where. Can somebody point me in the right direction?

When you activate Text tool, you can switch multiline mode/artistic text mode in Tool Options.
From what I have seen, this Karbon document applies to Krita's Artistic Text as well. https://userbase.kde.org/Karbon/Tutoria ... t_Shape/en If you want to change Artistic Text color(fill, pattern, etc), select the text it with "shape handling" tool(arrow icon) and you can change that in Tool Options. If you want to go back to Artistic Text Tool Options(to change font etc), double click the text with shape handling tool. |

Mperryman:
You might find this thread of interest as it relates to your question. viewtopic.php?f=139&t=127529 I followed the advice given and use Inkscape (free) for text work. Chuck |
