Move selection of group layer moves only one layer. Bug?

Hi all,

If I put multiple layers in a group layer and use the move tool on the layer, all layers in the group are moved together. This is as expected.

But if I make a selection and then try to move the group, even if the Selection Mode is set to "Move the whole group" in the Tool Options, only one of the layers is moved. I would expect to see the content of all the layers in the group moved, as far as those contents are within the selection. Also, I cannot figure out what determines which layer is moved. So is this a bug, or a feature of which I simply don't understand the rationale?

As there is no other way I know of in Krita to mark a number of layers for simultaneous transformation, I have great difficulty to perform the simple and often essential task of moving a selected part of multiple layers exactly the same distance and direction. I would like to report a bug if this is a bug, or request the expected behavior as a new feature if the current behavior is a feature. So which is it?

(This is on Ubuntu 15.04, using Krita 2.9.2)

It's missing functionality as far as I know. Multiple layer selection is still very young and one of the chosen stretchgoals was to add this kind of obvious functionality. So it'll be better in 3.1.
