Open/Save Window Crashing

Sun Sep 13, 2015 12:28 pm
Have Krita 2.9.7 on Linux Mint and recently every time "Open", "Save", "Save as", "Import Layer", etc. are used the application crashes. The window that should pop up is greyed out and appears for about a second before krita closes. So am guessing anything that uses that window format causes it to crash.
Tried filing a bug report but it keeps saying not enough information is provided so have no idea what to do >_<.
Tried removing and re-installing krita as well but the problem is still there.
Is there a way to repair krita or restore it to the way it was when that window feature was actually working?

See if renaming/deleting the kritarc file helps(under .kde/share/config)... This'll reset your configuration, but it can fix issues sometimes...

Actually, it's a good thing you reported the issue. Now the developers have an idea of where to look and what might have caused the issue :3

Not really, because she deleted the offending file... Which is why we should actually recommend renaming it but I was being an idiot.
