Hello to the devs and forum members.
![]() On the build instructions from "Building Krita on Linux for Cats" there is a command that I get an error with.
It says that there is no such file, and when i look in that dir I can't find it either. Is there a new command for the newer Krita-git builds for linux? I was able to get it to build, but I have all kinds of problems and errors when it is running. I am currently rebuilding krita again, hoping that I can get it to build properly. But I notice that the icons for the tools, in every build that I have done, are massive and non scaleable. I don't know what is causing this. Another thing that is not working, is the pallet popup. It isn't showing any of the presets. All it shows in the shape of the popup; it is one solid color. I would greatly appreciate clarification and feed back on these problems. Thanks again. ![]() |

Hi Gbear7,
Have you created the build directories as noted in the guide.
This will setup the build directories, then as suggested in the guide change the directory to src by
then clone the git by
Wait for it to complete this may take some time as it needs to download around 2.5-5gb After it is complete you must have calligra directory in the kde4 > src folder Then you can continue with git checkout ( note the current work ready branch is calligra/2.9 as noted in the guide) regarding the icons they have been reworked, the size of the toolbox icons can be changed by right clicking on them. Hope this helps thank you |

Hallo kamathraghavendra,
![]() Yes I have completed all the instruction via the guide. I am attempting the build again right now. So I will see how it all goes. Well the icons seem to be fixed, but the size of them is bigger than I like. (This was before I noticed your comment about right clicking.) However, the preset popup pallet is still not working and now krita no longer recognizes my tablet.

I plugged in my Intuos 2 and krita recognizes it.
So now it is just the popup pallet is not working. |
