Ok, so finally had a chance to test 2.9.7 on my linux powered pc. And sadly the results are the same as on Win - contigous selection tool is broken. When you inverse selection made with this tool you get quite unexpected results. Other selections (for example similar color selection / lasso etc) behave as expected.

There's a bug reported for this.
Edit: boud fixed it in the code, but no idea when this arrives for you. (It's an antialiasing checkbox in contiguous select, Ican't give you precise instructions for it right now due to lack of Krita) |

ok, thank you. So I assume it will come in one of the updates to Krita, right?
Also is it patched in the official source code repository so I could try compiling the package ? As I'll be working with a number of photos soon , this fix would come really handy. |
