I'm using the new version of Krita 2.9.7 and I'm reading the tutorials from the main page now. However, I feel like the tutorial seems outdated/ not made for Windows users, when I was trying to make my own animated brushes. On the website https://userbase.kde.org/Krita/Tutorial_4A they say I should go to "custom brush" under Brush settings, but the only option I get there are Auto, Predefined and Text. Is the new version different or something? <3

Yes, that got recently changed. "Press the 'stamp' button and choose "Animated" in the brush type combobox.
