I am fed up with following problem... I always have Krita in its latest version (at this time it is v2.9.7).
Unfortunately, it keeps on showing some "invalid" brushes (marked with a cross) when program is running: ![]() I use "bundles" system but why it still happens? On another computer this problem does not exists (at least not in this scale). There are plenty examples of this problem as I keep many brushests to test. So is there any limit on brushsets' amount? ![]() How to delete unused bundles, by the way? How to fix this annoying problem(s), please? ![]() My system is Win7, 64-bit. |

I don't know why that is, maybe some folder was moved or changed in the Krita settings directory?
You can however remove presets with the red trash icon in the toolbar-preset-popup-thingy, and bundles via "settings>manage resources" as seen in the manual. (It's awesome if you write in the page or discussion what is weird or missing!) |

Well, thanks for your opinion and I need more replies ofcourse. ![]() I don't know whether one folder was moved or not - I'm just user not programmer... I thought that "bundle" system was planned as a big help to precisely install any pack of brushes I need use to. So what to expect now? ![]()
I am really do not know what you mean here.... ![]() This is a "help" subforum after all. |

Hi Drayldan,
As you already know it the X mark suggest missing brush tip. I see( guess) that you are using the concept art and illustration pack, this bundle was made in the older versions of Krita and later improvements in bundle system made this pack a bit incompatible. you can see the discussion in this thread -> viewtopic.php?f=274&t=127423 The bundle system is still being worked on there are some nitpicks and developers are working on it. Now for your question about deleting the, got the brush presets by pressing (F6) then choose the tag 'all' select the brush that you want to remove and press the trash can icon , I advice removing the concept art and illustration bundle which seems to have X mark for majority of its brushes. You can also read about this in the manual as lundin suggested.
By this he meant that you can give us feedback about the information in the manual, each manual page has a discussion section you can leave your comments about the contents of the respective page there. P.S.
what does being a user or programmer has to do with knowing if the resource folder is messed up, just curious. |

Okay, so that's clear.
A smart converter (by Krita's creators at best) could be welcome because "translate" old bundles to newer format(s) by hand is a bit too fatiguing, I guess... ![]() |

Sure, and it wonders me why a bundle created on one computer doesn't work properly on another one (with the same program version). I tested it recently... Definitely, changes are too huge to keep up with them... ![]() |
