I stumbled across this piece of great software not to long ago and while I love using gimp I have gained a profound love for Krita as well because it seems to do the things I would normally do in gimp much better in certain areas though there are some obvious differences and a few issues between the two but anyway that's besides the point..
My question is... Is it possible to use an Image inside Krita and turn it into a Custom Brush? Or is that not possible other than to paint to create your own from what i've seen in youtube videos? I did some digging around but that seems to be the only way at the moment... Any thoughts or advice about this? |

You can use any png image as a brush by placing it in the brushes folder. Png images with a transparent background work best. You can also make a brush out of your currently open image, by going into the brush editor, select Predefined brushes and then press the "Stamp" button.
