G'day I'm having problems with the tool options. I was using the parallel ruler to make a series of lines. The very last line I made I drew over the ruler and looked for the ruler close icon but it was gone. the ruler tool is locked and the tool options only display the use sensors, preview check boxes when in line tool so cannot use the ruler for new lines I want to make.

help would be appreciated

Usually it should be possible to activate the assistant tool and then the icon will reappear.
