Why my strokes don't reflect the brush specs?

To be more accurate, the square brushes' strokes do look like from a square brush. And the same for the Circle brushes.
However, neither one's strokes vary in width. The whole stroke's width, from beginning to end remains at one width.

I am using a Wacom Bamboo 7" tablet. I know the problem is not the tablet as I had used it days ago without a problem. Now for "some reason" my strokes are not the same :(
I have confirmed in the Wacom Prefs that the device is to be used as a pen, not a mouse.

Any ideas?

Thanks a bunch gals/guys :)

When you say the pressure sensitivity worked a couple of days ago, do you mean it worked in Krita a couple of days ago? Or are you saying pressure sensitivity worked in other programs?

Thank you for replying SP :)
Good question, sorry I left that out.
I meant in Krita.
