Ok, so last week my pen stopped being in sync with my brush on Krita. I have been using Krita for well over a year and this has never happened before. It has been a stressful week of trying to fix it with no hope. I have not been able to draw now for a while and am very stressed
![]() The pen will draw, but the brush is not where I touch the canvas. Background info: I have tried EVERYTHING. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Krita, reset all the default presets, updated my tablet driver and even updated Krita. This is very troublesome and I cannot for the life of me find a solution anywhere. I have a Windows desktop computer, and have the latest version of Windows 8. My tablet is the Cintiq 13 HD and I am on the newest wacom driver. No, I am not updating to windows 10 that is irrelevant and it messed up my files. Please help, I have a lot of work on krita that is unfinished and don't want to lose hope and abandon it yet. ![]() ![]() |

By "Reset all presets" did you mean deleting configuration files as well? (uninstalling/reinstalling Krita does not reset the configuration files)
All of your settings are contained in %APPDATA%\krita so try renaming the folder and see creating a fresh configuration files make a difference if you have not done so... https://krita.org/about/faq/#configurationstored |

* press windows-r
* in the dialog that pops up type "%APPDATA%" without the quotes and press enter * in the file explorer, go to Roaming\krita\share\config * remove the kritarc file that you will find there. |

EDIT: Found the said file. I renamed and deleted it. It did not work. My pen is still out of sync. Krita is my favorite program and last hope. Any more help? ![]() |
