Hi my names is Isak and this is the first time I use krita.
I recently downlodead krita on my tablet 32 bit.
The problem is every time I open up a new canvas a
wered chess pattern appear on the canvas.
Does someone else have a similar problem?

The checkerboard indicates transparency. As long as you can paint on it and it shows the lines you draw, it should be fine.

If you want to quickly fill the current layer, hit backspace, or configure the transparency of the background color in the new image dialogue.
