I tried searching for this problem but I'm not sure what to search for exactly, so didn't have much luck...

Basically anytime I make a change to the interface, it is gone when I restart. For example, I made a change to the toolbar to add an off and on button for brush smoothing, but if I restart the program it disappears.

The thing is tho, it's still LISTED as being there if I open the configure toolbars menu, but wont appear unless I move its position back and forth and re-save my settings.

Another bug which I suspect could be related is that when I first start up the program, my brush presets are empty until I switch to another brush preset and then back to the first.

Running Krita 2.9.6 on win7 64bit, got all the admin rights etc enabled... Not really sure what could be causing this? Sorry if this is an already discussed issue, if so please just point me in the right direction, thanks

It depends a bit on which button you add to the toolbar, but for buttons like zoom, it's a known bug. Undo/redo/clear canvas work fine. The issue with the presets is a different, known bug, and it doesn't happen always for everything, it's a timing issue. For 3.0, we're close to fixing the first bug, for the second bug I need a big chunk of time to redo the resource and resource tagging system, and I haven't had that time and won't have it until January at least, and maybe not even after that.

Thanks, it's not a huge inconvenience so as long as it isn't something that I can fix on my end I'll be happy to live with it until it's fixed
