I'm trying to align 2 layers. Is there a way to move a layer with a keyboard? I haven't tried a couple and flipped manuals quickly and was unable to find it.
If there's no such option - the way I see it you could activate transform tool (T) and then arrows would move layer / selection by one pixel in a given direction, while for example shift+arrow would move in increments set somewhere.

Nope, we had it as a stretchgoal proposal this year, but it wasn't picked in the end.

ouch... it's one of those features you easily forget - until you need it.
