Shortcut for adjusting brush softness

Tue Jan 05, 2016 11:00 pm
Hi all,

I was trying and googling a lot but could not find a quicker way to change the brush softness than opening the brush engines menu and adjust the "fade" (hoizontally/vertically)?
In Photoshop, for round brushes, you can hold down ALT and move the mouse up or down to do that (moving left or right changes the brush size). In Krita you can also hold the SHIFT key and change the brush size by moving left or right with the mouse, but you can not change the softness.

Is there another quick way? And if not, is there a way to somehow dock the brush engines menu or even the "fade" slider? ???

Thanks in advance,
best regards,
Gilbert

No not yet(there's something being considered as it is a chosen kickstarter stretchgoal), but you can rightclick the brush settings to un-stick them from the toolbar so you can hang them onto a second monitor if you'd like.
