as the subject says, the tool isn't working... but all of the other select tools are working . it randomly started to happen on 9.5.2, so i decided to update to the latest version but it still isn't working. i thought updating my computer would work too, but alas, it did not. this is the most efficient way i can complete art, and i have commissions waiting on me, so a fast response would be nice!
i use windows (x64) 10, and i am using the x64 krita program.

hmm. that does sound odd. I haven't heard of that issue before. I am on Windows 10 64bit as well and it seems ok. I am on 2.9.9, but it should be working with your version.

It might be something odd with the configuration file. You can try to remove it and see if it starts working...

Go here... your user might be different than 'admin'

C:\Users\admin\AppData\Roaming\krita\share\config

there is a kritarc file in there. You can try to remove it and restart Krita. That might fix it. You can copy it to a different location temporarily if you want to keep it. When Krita starts next time, it will create a new kritarc file.

Hopefully that fixes it.
