Hi everyone,
One thing I often want to do is the following: - select a region of the canvas - apply some black-to-white gradient to the selection - adjust the level on the selection according to the gradient (to be clear, the gradient shouldn't be seen in the end result, it's just a tool for applying the adjustment). What is the quickest way to do this? It's something that I want to be able to do quickly, so that I can apply on different regions without interupting to much the flow. Bonus if it doesn't require too much changes of tools and colours. Thanks for any help! |

Why not just use filter masks? They work like transparency masks, so you could make a levels-filter mask and draw a black and white gradient on the mask bit.

So there was a trivial solution... Okay I go back RTFM!
Thank you very much for your answer! |
