Just wondering how I can insert a copyright © in Krita text tool.

Depends on whether you are using the multiline text tool or the artistic one. Multiline accepts paste; the artistic text tool doesn't. We do know that the text tools in Krita are, well, not good, so that's going to be a big part of the next kickstarter's focus.
