I am trying to emulate smooth monochrome smudge, color of which is defined by start point (see any of two screenshots). I think, it will be useful for mixed cartoon/realistic hair.
In the Paint tool SAI I had managed to get these smooth strokes: http://dobrokot.ru/pics/i2016-02-02__05-16-54_472kb.jpg In the Krita I can't get smoothness of stroke edge, and I sometimes stroke has sudden change in opacity or color during stroke ( I tried to emulate this brush with "smudge" ) - http://dobrokot.ru/pics/i2016-02-02__05-14-53_377kb.png How can I get behaviour close to SAI? How can I get smooth stroke, which behaves like Ink-GPen brush, but color is taken from start point (eyedropper Ctrl+Click with ink-pen is somehow usable, but it triples number of pressed buttons and is much more tedios when drawing a LOT of hair strokes). |

anti-aliasing has been fixed in 3.0, the rest has to do with smudge length, like stated in the manual.https://userbase.kde.org/Krita/Manual/B ... mudgeBrush
if you believe there's a bug here still, it should go to bugs.kde.org |
