Like the title says, I can not, for the life of me, figure how to use it correctly.

I come from Sai, and in it, you just click "CLIP" on a layer you want to and it clips to the bottom layer. How do you do it in Krita?

create a group with the layer you want to clip to on the bottom. for every layer you want to clip over it press the a in the layers panel so that it's striked out.

in krita 3.0 there is now a shortcut to do that automagically, which is ctrl+shift+g
