1. Krita starts up with ink_brush_25, which is what I want (because I use it most of the time), but as soon as I put the pen over my tablet the tool changes to something else. This only happens once, but its fairly annoying because I have to change the brush every time I start to draw something. How do I prevent this from happening?

2. I heard that you can customize the brushes in the "disc" that opens with right mouse click, but I can't find the menu where I can customize them. Where is it?
