Hi there!

I'm a Blender 3D user, and I know *nothing* about image-manipulation ou drawing software...

I'm here asking you guys for help, because a year ago I modeled my first car, and in the tutorial I was following the instructor suggested not to model the grooves you find in the headlights, but to fake them with a displacement map instead... And that required 'drawing' said maps... As I have no knowledge of these things, I just abandonned my project...

Today I'm thinking that stopping when 80% of the job is done is just stupid, and I'm wondering if I can make my maps for the headlights in Krita... I'm not interested in Photoshop, and Gimp doesn't seem to be very user-friendly...

Krita on the other hand looks nice, and not too complicated for beginners...

Do you guys know of any good tutorials specifically for this task, made with Krita?... Haven't found any so far...

Thank you in advance! :)

PS: Here's what I'm trying to make...
