Background info:
OS/Kernel: Arch Linux 4.4.5-1 (64-bit) Nvidia 650 (proprietary driver 361.28) Intel anniversary edition g3258 (Dual Core) 8Gb DDR3 RAM Using this repository. OK, so I've been following this and this, and after some missing compile dependencies shenanigans I've compiled the current master branch... Only for it to dump the core when I try to open it. I've compiled Krita a few times over the last few months and I always get some problem, but usually compiling is the hard part. I typically use the animation branch, but want to move to the master 3.0 branch. When I check systemd's journal I find this:

Edit: cleaner dump (No redundant info) and for reference I am on the Cinnamon desktop. Edit2: Just tried in forever to use the AUR PKGBUILD for Krita's Git repository. Installed, but same issue. The stack trace is ever so slightly different, but still 'libkritapigment'. Edit: Never mind... two weeks later. I finally got it too run. I don't know why my system was having so many issues before. Weird, I can't think of what has changed on my system to cause this to work. Still, glad it's working- The appimages constantly gives me issues. |
