assistant tool acting weird

Thu Mar 31, 2016 9:15 am
Hi,
as the titel implies I have some problems with my assistant tool. well, actually it isn't just the assistant tool, but that's the most prominent part.

I'm currently using Krita version 2.9.11 and everything was fine untill I recently created a file that apparantly was a bit too big for my PC to handle.
It crashed and since then I've been having this problem where everything outside of my brush just seems to freeze. This gets obnoxious rather quick if you use the assist tool for perspective or try to flip or turn the image.

i could try to explain it but I think it's best if I just show it. http://img09.deviantart.net/8803/i/2016/091/e/5/krita_malfunction_by_bartbvb-d9x9wps.jpg
I used an url as my image is wider than 720 pixels.

anyway, is there a way to fix this? i tried to even reinstal krita but the problem persists.

Thanks in advance.

Your openGL is off, turn it back on via settings->configure Krita->display.

Krita sometimes auto-disables it when it thinks that caused the crash.

Thanks a lot!

reactivating OpenGL worked perfectly.
