I'm encountering a particular irritating bug with the new alpha when trying to delete default brush presets and saving/changing keyboard shortcuts. When I delete all the brush presets I don't need/want and then close the document I get an error message. I get the same error when I customize key board shortcuts. If I chose to abort Krita shorts down instantly. If I chose to ignore Krita stays open, but when I quit the program and open it back up the changes aren't there.
![]() The other bug has been reported but I'm sad its in the new alpha. The tool configuration is broken. The configuration windows doesn't show any options on either sides of the window. Hopefully both issues will get fixed soon. ![]() ![]() |

The customize toolbar window definitely appears to be broken. I tried customizing it and ran into the same issue. Im also having a lot of issues with brush creation. Kritas filing system is acting up and not saving brush presets like its supposed to. Its not overwriting the brush preset when you hit the overwrite button instead its making a new file so the brush docker gets saturated with redundant saves.. and when you clean it up you lose the intended brush and got the one you don't want. I'm having to go into the files manually and rename and delete them. But they still keep coming back.

Could you guys again make reports for this, or open the old one, or confirming this one: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=361593 ?
We had some trouble trying to fix another bug that eventually ended up with us not being able to compile Krita 2.9 on windows, so instead we reverted a lot of commits and maybe the fix got caught up in there somewhere. But, we really need people to report bugs in the bugtracker, because we otherwise will absolutely forget them. |
