Hi,
I'd like to say hello to all, as I'm new here, so hello! I'm currently using PS to post process my archviz renderings. I use exposure adjustment layer or exposure adjustment tool on my 32bit and 16bit images to locally correct exposure. In PS exposure adjustment works same way in 32 and 16 bits but in 16 there is no possibility to recover clipped highlight of course. Here in Krita I was able to: 1. Darken 32bit image using layer opacity 2. Only Lighten 16bit or 32bit image using color adjustment curves, darkening on 32bits image hasn't resolved highlights 3. Adjust whole image exposure using LUT panel Is there any other way to adjust exposure? Best regards. |

We don't have an exposure or lutbaking filter, but we agree it's a very useful feature: We even made it a possible stretchgoal in the kickstarter(it's number 12).
if we would have that, we'd be able to use the button next to the brush button in the lutdocker to set the white and black points, for example. I think, as long as we don't have this, it might be better to take your renders into Natron and do the exposure adjustment there. |

Thank you!
I'm currently switching to blender so I will use blender compositor as it also has hdr bloom/glare filters. Have to take a look @ Natron though. |
