Hi everybody, I'm a new user of Krita and I'm new in chat as well. I love Krita and I tried the new 3.0 RC1 version for animation. I've got an issue with this version that I didn't have with teh previous one: when I try to export or save a file in jpeg, I always get a .jpe instead of a .jpg. The problem is that .jpe is not recognize by other programs (i.e. Blender) I tried to tweak the export settings without succes. Does anyone know why and /or how to fix it? Thanks a lot for your answers! (I use Krita with Windows 10- 64 bits)

I think Krita remembers the last file type you saved. Next time you save a file, just rename it to '.jpg' before hitting the save button. They are all the same data, so you can rename the extension as well if you already saved it.

Hi,
Just to add that, when I close and reopen Krita, it still save .jpe files if I don't type the .jpg extension everytime I save. In other words, Krita doesn't keep the last extension. I hope this will be fixed soon if I'm not the only one bothered by this issue. Cheers |
