I find an undesired behavior in Krita 3.0. I am using Krita 3.0 on Win 8.1. While using brush, I see that it is pausing at the end of a stroke. This was not there on Krita 2.9.11. I am not sure if this is controlled by a setting. Somebody out there to help on how to silence this behavior, if it can be controlled via a setting?

I noticed this problem as well. Just as the pen leaves the tablet surface the cursor freezes for a moment. I'm using windows 7.

Is it related to instant preview? https://docs.krita.org/Instant_Preview

Seems so. After deactivating the instant preview the cursor stopped freezing. Activating the instant preview again brings the freezing back. Thanks! |

I have a Laptop with hybrid graphics: Intel / nvidia.
I use Krita always with the Nvidia and have never had any such issues. However when I am testing debug versions I can only use the integrated graphics (intel). The brush lag / freeze is happening all the time then. I think it is not connected with opengl or instant preview per say, but it happens if the outline shape is visible. If I just use the vursor shape the lag disappears. |
