I just installed the latest version of Krita V3 Windows 10 and Intuos 5.
I started it up and had this problem:
There is the drawing space, surrounded by sliders and other interface objects. My stylus works fine in the drawing area but simply will not work in the interface, it reaches the edge of the drawing area and stops. To use any interface control I have to use my mouse. Is this intentional or a bug? The portable V3 Beta works fine so I'm using it for now.

No, that's not normal... But since it happens for you in the stuff around the canvas, it's not something we do. That's where the development platform does it stuff! But we didn't change that between beta and release either -- the only thing we changed was the compiler. On the other hand, on our windows 7 and 10 test devices, we don't see what you describe. In fact, I managed to stream an entire hour of painting with Krita using Windows 7 as host OS the day of the release!

For a bit of testing, are you working with Krita in full screen? Try to make the krita window smaller with your mouse and see if it does the same thing with your tablet. I have not heard of this issue before.

No, I never use full screen.
Well, since I know it's on my end that gives me a starting point to sort it out. When I figure out what's going on I'll post it here in case anyone else has this problem. Thanks for confirming this.

Update: I just reinstalled it as admin and all is well now. Must be one of those profound mysteries of the universe.
