Hello,

I'm a first time user of Krita & it seems like a potential rival to Adobe's Photoshop (which I'm getting tired off anyway) and would like to fund/support to other uprising systems. So far it has been great except for a few bugs here and there.

The one bug in particular for now is when I use the selection tools (specifically Rectangular and Polygon). I don't really want to try Ellipse or any other shape tool in case it has the same effect. Basically I use it and then I get a big black animation on the whole artboard; it's like the boogeyman shadow; dancing on my screen. Laughing. It does have sharp teeth that move back and forth over my artwork for some strange reason - then crashes and shuts down.
I can still see it in my memory - laughing at me at 4.30am Brisbane time - as if I was living through The Babadook movie.

The only selection tool that doesn't get it is the Outline tool. However, now and again it would come up.

When this happens I try to Cntrl+Shift+A out of it like a MF so I don't lose any unsaved progress. The other thing I do is ignore it and hit the Cntrl+T (Transform) and it does what I need it to do.

Should I uninstall and reinstall the program see if this works? or go back to Krita 2.9 and see if that helps? Or is there a better chance of doing none of the above, which would be better :)

I've done key searches everywhere on the forums but nothing close that could help.

Cheers in advance ;D
