Hi all,
I've used V3 ever since since the beta version and now the current release. It's always worked fine until this morning. It starts then before I can do anything it crashes ad gives me the attached messages ![]() ![]() I've tried completely removed it with revo then reinstalled it, same message. I deleted all of the krita data in the roaming folder, same message. Oddly, I downloaded the portable version and still the same thing happens. That suggests that the problem isn't due to Krita, but windows 10. Yesterday I got a massive windows update. I can't help but think the problem is somewhere in that update. Any help will be appreciated |

I'm sorry, but I'm pretty sure that it's the Windows update that is giving problems

So I should be able to use 2.9.11?
Is there a fix for this possible in the near or distant future? |

You can try, of course -- just get the latest 2.9.11 zip file, unpack and test. There is also a debug build that you could try: maybe that will be able to give us extra information: http://www.valdyas.org/~boud/krita-3.0- ... 64-dbg.zip

I'm using one of the Betas right now, it seems to be doing ok. I should NOT have said that. I bet I doomed myself. I do have one more question now that I have you're attention.
I've been adding resources. A few of them have history brushes (brush.tpl). Where should I put those? It isn't a big deal but I bought one from gum road for $13 once after being it worked with Elements and finding that it won't and Gimp apparently can't use it. |

I'm sorry, but .tpl brushes aren't supported by Krita. Adobe has never published the file format, so we cannot do anything about it.

That's ok. Someday I'll be able to use that brush. Thanks for your time.
