Selection and Line Snap

Thu Jun 30, 2016 3:25 am
The selection and line tools are snapping to the vertical/horizontal centre and the edges of my images. Is this a new feature, and if so how do I turn it off?

Thanks.

I just stumbled upon the solution while trying to solve another problem. The "s" key doesn't seem to be activating the selection subtract mode any more, so I tried shift-s and that brought up a snap menu where I was able to uncheck Image Bounds and Image Center.

So the question now is: what is the keyboard shortcut for subtract mode?

It's ALT, I believe.

Hmm.. that works, although not without holding the key down. "A" still works for adding, but for some reason "S" doesn't subtract any more, even though the tooltip says it does.

I realised I had assigned S to the polygon selection tool, however removing it hasn't restored the functionality.
