Hello. I usually use Clip Studio Paint, but decided to try out Krita because of the popularity.
I updated to El Captain on Mac, but it seems like whenever I use my tablet the brushstrokes jitters around and lags really bad. I think my tablet is just being difficult with Krita. It works fine with my mouse, everything goes smoothly. And it's not just my tablet in general, the brushstrokes are fine when I use Clip Studio Paint. I already tried disabling/enabling Open GL. It doesn't work. My tablet was working fine with Krita before I installed the El Captain update, I'm not sure how to fix it though. Please help me |

What brand of tablet are you using? I have no problems with a Wacom Intuos 3.

I have just a regular wacom bamboo tablet, one of these: http://www.shinyshiny.tv/wacom-bamboo-tablet.jpg
I'm not sure if the problem is in my actual tablet, it seems to work with other programs when I use it as well, and I'm not sure whats wrong when i use krita. |

I have a similar problem. Running OSX El Capitan 10.11.6 and I am using a Turcom/Huion TS-6580. When I move the mouse over the canvas it does not register that my cursor has moved until I click the canvas (which is problematic when using brushes). And then the brush is a bit laggy.
I tested my tablet in another paint application with no issues. It only seems to have this problem in Krita. |

I'm also finding a similar problem.
Yesterday I updated my MacBook Pro to El Capitan and although my tablet (Wacom Intuos) seems to work fine in other programs in Krita I get a huge lag when making brush strokes longer than a centimeter or so (on my tablet). The brush on screen freezes and its not until I stop moving my pen around, then everything I drew (blindly) pops onto the screen. (Edit and Update: I found uninstalling and re-installing Krita 3.0.1 seemed to have done the trick. Everything is working properly for me now) |
