Hello!
I am here again with another problem I'm facing. I'm animating in Krita, and suddenly the brush tool stopped working. It just doesn't draw anything on the canvas anymore. I am pretty sure I may have pressed a key that did this, but so far haven't been able to figure out what. I checked the layers and they are not locked, I tried reopening Krita, the file, and even restarted the PC but still having the same problem. If I create a new layer I still can't draw, so I don't think it's a layer problem. All the selection tools work, I can move and transform, Vector Layers work fine too. However, Fill and Gradient tools also don't work. I created a new file and I can paint normally there so the problem is only on the file I am working on. |

If you say it still happens when you re-open the same, file, can you make the file available to check what's going on?

More updates (New file):
Unfortunately, the same thing happened to a new file I started working with, luckily I wasn't so advanced in this new one. I was animating a jump, so I had drawn like 3 frames in sketches, then I decided to import multiple png layers from my character design to have them as a reference. in different layers and then that's when the problem happened. I no longer could draw in any layers with the brush, gradient or fill tools. Also, my zoom tool is unclickable now. I can zoom in and out of a picture with + and - keyboard buttons but the zoom button is unclickable. I didn't save anything after importing the png files, so I just reopened the files and the problem with the tools was gone, except the zoom tool. I can't click to use it, so I am just zooming in and out with the + and - keys. ![]() |
