Hey everyone. New to Krita, so I'm wondering if there is a way to prevent putting down any marks outside of the canvas border you're working with. For instance, if I were to start drawing all over the black areas outside the borders, the marks will become visible if I start moving the layer around. Telling Krita to "lock-off" those areas and only accept input within the borders would be really helpful to the way I work. Can this currently be done?

Hey,
Yes, it can be done if you 'Select All' your canvas ( Ctrl+A ). The paint will not go outside the canvas borders.
On my side, I prefer to keep end stroke outside the canvas temporary because it can be precious when uncropping/enlarging artwork or moving a layer.
You can clean paint outside canvas any time with this feature : Menu > Image > Trim to Image size.

Yeah, what deevad said! and if the selection ants are distracting, Ctrl-H hides selections :)
